How likely am I to get my "request?"

So, we're renting points for the first time

and I've had my point-renter person put in a request for a top floor room at BCV, with an Epcot view and a large balcony.

I know that every other time I've been to WDW, I've received exactly what I requested at the hotel (lucky me). How often have you veteran DVCers gotten your requests? Is mine going to be a tough one?

Thanks in advance!!

BTW, we're going in May (which usually isn't too busy, but with the biggest Celebration on Earth I'm a bit concerned about crowds).

We've never stayed at BCVillas, but at OKW twice and WLV once we've gotten everything we've requested each time.

GOOD LUCK to you! You are going to LOVE the Beach Club Villas....i hear they are fantastic, and lucky you with storm-a-long bay...super pool area!!

Thanks! I can't wait to stay there. I've scheduled LOTS of "hotel time," because I know we'll want to have the time to explore the pool, the resort, and, of course, the Boardwalk.

we rented points for our stay a few years back at BCV. At the time I didn't know about "requests".

We've been to the Wildnerness Lodge Villas 3 times; the first 2 times we made room location requests and didn't get any of them. So, of course, the last time we didn't make any requests and received the EXACT room we would've asked for. Go figure.

I think they will make every effort to meet most of your requests. They really do a good job on this. FYI - it also makes no difference that you are not the actual DVC member. You will be treated with the same class and style!

We have never stayed at BCV. We stayed at SSR in Oct. We did not get any of the requests we made.

We were at BCV for Thanksgiving and did not make any request other than no-smoking room. When we arrived to check in I then requested an upper flooor room facing Epcot. The very nice CM checking me in showed me a map of the Villas and showed me the rooms that were available. Non of the 5th floor rooms facing Epcot were availble, but I selteled on a 5th floor view of the woods, I think is was room 511. Anyway we were able to see the fireworks from our room as well as the rear part of WS skyline. It worked out great.

Room assignments are generally done one week prior to check in. You should have the member call the resort and request the room by number 6 days prior to check in. These requests are handled on a first come first served basis. Hope this helps!!

Ooh, skybug, can they do that! That would be amazing, as I've found in my searches a map of every room number at BCV, and if I could request a specific room I'd be in heaven!
