Contemporary Resort DVC Wing info!!!
Looks like a DVC on the monorail ?
 YAY!!!!!!!!From: http://www.wdwmagic.com/resorts_news.htm From link: 11 March 2006: Construction project at the Contemporary Resort The long abandoned STOL airport near to the Transportation and Ticket Centre is set to be turned over to Imagineering from September 2006 until December 2009. It is speculated that this large area will be used as a staging area for a huge construction project at the Contemporary Resort. Rumors link the construction project to a possible introduction of a Disney Vacation Club wing. This information is not yet officially confirmed, and may be subject to change.

I have already sent an email to the family. We bank out points for 2008 and go to WDW for Christmas in 2009.

This would be great. I would definitely take advantage of this location.
I'm not sure if it was a rumor or not but I think I read somewhere that they might also be thinking of a DVC wing at the AKL.

The way they were pushing DVC at WDW last week - it seems possible that they're looking to add properties at other resorts. It would be wonderful to be on the monorail - and to have a property at AK. Sound exciting.
