Renting Points question

Hopefully I can explain this to make scense. I rented 138 points from a DVC member. We are staying at the BC Villas may 25th through June 1st. My reservation is for 1 night in a one bedroom villa, then the rest of the time in a studio. I guess that was due to availability, and to how many points I wanted to rent at the time.
Now my question is: now that I have a bit more money, we'd love to be able to stay in the one bedroom for the entire trip. I have no idea how to even begin to find out how or if I could do this. I really do not want to go back to the renter and bother him, as he was very helpfull already in renting me the first 138 points.
Can I call , check availability, and ad a cash payment on top of the points to try for the one-bedroom for the entire trip??
Try and rent more points ? Or would it be best to just settle for what we have (we are very happy with the arrangements) and not try to change anything.

I would suggest contacting the person you rented the points from. They may have additional points they are trying to get rid of. They are the only person who can change the reservation for you anyways, so you don't have much choice.

I am almost completely sure that you cannot pay the difference, I don't think it would work, though I will check that for you. You could have the person change what you have into a 1 bedroom for as many nights as the points you currently have will buy, and then just pay for the other nights.

I will check with my renter first, in the meatime if you could check into the possibility of paying cash "after" the points that would be great.

Nope, it is not possible to pay the difference. You have to book the rooms with points only, and then pay cash for any extra nights.
