SSR or OKW?

DH and I just stayed at SSR this Dec and loved it. My DM and I are going to disney in May for the doll and teddybear convention at epcot. I booked SSR but I was just thinking about changing it to OKW. I really want to try all of the DVC resorts so I thought I could try OKW this time. I have read and heard alot of good things about OKW and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts if I should change the reservation etc? Thanks

I really enjoyed my stay at OKW and think you should give it a try since you want to try all the DVC places out anyway. DEfinately rebook.

We've stayed at both and love both! The pros to staying at OKW are: not as many points per night, the studios are larger & you get 2 Queen Sized beds...no pull out sofa, so everyone's comfy!
Our Home is SSR, but we've stayed at OKW 4 trips and SSR just 1. We like to conserve points & take more vacations!!

I agree with Goof... We're staying at OKW in February. Friends just got back and stayed at SSR. They loved it you can fireworks every night and they said its fun to walk over to DTD...

OKW, to me, is the most appealing of the DVC's...I mean by personal opinion only based upon outside appearence.....I would love to stay there, but I'm sure either will be alot of fun

If you just got back from SSR, why not try OKW this time???

Thanks for the help. I'm going to call on tuesday and change it to OKW. I like the idea also that OKW has the 2 queens instead of the pull out. When we stayed at SSR we had a 1 bedroom so. Thanks again everyone.

We've stayed at both and like both. I agree, try to stay at all the DVC (and WDW for that matter) resorts. I do not think you will be disappointed by OKW. It has a certainly charm.

I finally had a chance to call DVC today and I got the reservation changed from SSR to OKW with no problem at all. The good thing is that its less points at OKW than SSR. I was able to put the point difference back into our account and didnt have to bank them or lose or anything like that which was great.... Im so excited..... I cant wait to go.... Thanks for all the help mousebuzzers.....

OKW is "our home away from home". I can't say enough good things about it.

It was the first DVC property built and NO expense was spared. You can really see the difference between it and the newer DVC properties. Not that they aren't beautiful too, but you can see where they've "cut corners".

Enjoy your stay - and make sure you have bread for the ducks.
