Should we wait until we arrive and buy park tickets when we are checking in?

I would buy them in advance only to save a few dollars and time getting them. Just remember to make copies of the back of all your passes just in case they are lost.

Dana is completely correct. Buy them in advance for these reasons as well as the peace of mind knowing that you are set to go.

Yes, they can easily be combined with your room key. Just ask the cm at check in and they will do it.

We like to pay in advance for as much as possible. This way I don't get a huge Disney Visa bill when we get home. Unfortunetly, being a DVC member, we can not pre-pay the dining plan ahead of time.

I am with you there. We have been saving so i have the money to pay for the park tickets for all 10 of us and the dining plan for all 10 of us now.

I want to pay for the tickets now because it is one less thing to have to worry about when we get there. I just wanted to make sure i could add them to the Key to the World cards. Now that Dana has said i can do that. I plan to purchase the tickets from ticketmania.com

Brandon, Would you save money buy buying early and getting an AP? DVC members save $100 off regular adult AP's and $125 off Prem AP's. We usually get two or three trips out of our AP's and save almost $400 for the four of us with the DVC discount!

Since we only make one trip a year to WDW the AP doesn't make since. So what we ended up doing is buying 10 day Park hoppers with no expiration. SO we will have 4 days left after this trip.

SO how much are the AP's with the discount? We are going in Aug for 10 days & are comparing prices. We too like to pay for almost everything before we go. Thanks for any help!

Premium Annual Pass:(which gets you into the water parks as well)

$559 ages 10 & up
$493 ages 3-9

Annual Pass:

$434 ages 10 & up
$382 ages 3-9

Those prices do not include the DVC discount.
