DVC going up...any discounts??

I got an advertisement for the DVC in the mail the other day that said effective March 5, 2007 the price per point is increasing from $101 to $104 and min points purchase from 150 to 160. If someone else has already posted this sorry.

Does anyone know if there are an referal discounts right now??? I don't know if we can do anything (probably not Right Now) but I'm trying to keep an eye on things

I honestly don't know of any discounts currently. The only one I did get was for current members interested in buying at AKL. If I see anything I will let you know. I can't believe the minimum is going to 160, wow!

I too am surprised that the minimum number of points is rising. Everytime I see that cost per point rising, I smile. We bought in at $78 to $80 a point which now looks like a steal!

They are offering some pretty good deals right now since it is their 15 year anniversary. We sat through a presentation and got some updated info. I don't know about price per point rising though.

Re: DVC going up...any discounts??

From what I understand, since AKV will be opening later this year, current DVC members who purchase at least 100 points will get $8 off per point so I think it is around $93 per point with the discount. In another month or so the price will go up so the discount will be around $96-97 per point. After that, it will be open for the general public to purchase

Re: DVC going up...any discounts??

Wow-- For once I bought something at a good time! We bought 150 points at the SSR last December. We got a cash discount so they reduced the price $1,500.00. FOr at total of 13,000 which works out to $86.00 per point.
