Oh no! All DVC resorts FULL for Thanksgiving week!!!

So I just hit my 7 month mark to change to a non-home resort for our November trip, EVERY SINGLE DVC resort is BOOKED solid for the week of Nov. 18th-25th except SSR, which is Thanksgiving week! Wow, I've NEVER called and heard that even OKW was full!! I couldn't believe it. So now I am waitlisted at Wilderness Lodge Villas & Beach Club. How many resorts are you allowed to be waitlisted for at once? I was surprised they let me do two.

I wonder what I am in for come November? I've never been to Disney that week, with the exception of the Friday after Thanksgiving last year and it was NOT that busy AT ALL!!

Yikes, I REALLY REALLY hope I get another resort! [fingers crossed]

PS: this DOESN'T make trying to get Liberty Tree for Thanksgiving day look very promising.

Oh! I'm really sorry to hear this as well. I know POR was 100% for Thanksgiving last year, but I spent ALOT of time in the parks that week and never though it was that crazy crowded either. I hope things work out for you!

I am keeping my fingers crossed 'cause we've been on waitlists 3 times now and got what we wanted everytime. Although, 'cause it's a holiday it probably won't be as easy. I am thinking of when Kim was desperately waiting to get into a a different resort, I think she was booked at SSR for Christmas and I don't think the waitlist ever came through for her

Where is Kim anyway???

And as far as you LTT ADR..I'd call the morning of 180 days out just to be safe!

That is SHOCKING!!!

I've never heard of such a thing! You can't get in at your OWN property???

I've said before I think that Disney is biting off way more than they can chew - they're stuffing so many people into the parks, that pretty soon people are going to start getting annoyed.

Wait, wait, wait.. I am so sorry if I didn't make this clear! I am ALREADY booked at SSR but we REALLY want to stay anywhere but there. I don't mind staying at SSR for our SHORTER 4-day trips but on our big 8 day trip I REALLY REALLY want to stay at either Wilderness Lodge Villas, Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas, or Beach Club.

They waitlisted me for Wilderness & Beach Club, and I can call back on June 11th to try AKL Villas. We'll see, I am REALLY keeping my fingers crossed.

The ADR issue is annoying because even if I call the MOMENT the line opens on my 180 mark there will be tons of people with arrival dates PREVIOUS of mine already making dining reservations the days before me & unfortunately LLT is "IT" for Thanksgiving!

Oh - I'm sorry - I misunderstood. You can still get in at your own property, right? I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get a call for one of the other resorts. But at least you're there!

Yes, I wanted to go to either BCV, BWV or WLV. Sadly, NONE opened up for me, so I was stuck at SSR. I really enjoyed my stay, though! Although I *wished* I could have been at any of the other 3.
