Anything I should request at BCV?

Hi

I figured to post this in the DVC forum.
I was wondeing if there is anything special for a view I should request at the BCV, or are all the rooms pretty good?
We just switched over from BWV after being on a waitlist.

Thanks!!!

There are basically two sides of the resort, one that looks at the pool area and one that looks elsewhere. The non-pool side will either look at part of the parking lot, EPCOT or a little bit of the Boardwalk. Either side would be nice, though the night we were there, the pool was quite bright, though noise wasn't a factor (it was freezing) it could be when it is warmer. Other than that, I don't really have any suggestions. There were some rooms on the pool side that had huge balconies, which would be nice.

We stayed on the 4th floor with an EPCOT view. The balcony was small but we had a great view of Illuminations. If that appeals to you, you might want to request a 4th or 5th floor room with an EPCOT view. I can't remember the room #'s with the view, but I think there is a thread somewhere that gives specific room #'s

For our Aug trip I requested a non-smoking room as high as I could get it with a view of EPCOT. I also made sure to mention that we'll be celebrating my DD's 18th birthday, so maybe that will help. Good luck & let us know what you wind up getting.

We'd really like to have the large balcony, since we'll be spening considerable time in our room when the little one is napping and asleep for the night.
Any idea how to avoid ending up without the small balcony? Should I just make that our #1 request, since that is our biggest concern?

Thanks!!!!!

We had 2 one bedroom villas when we went last Dec. and our second request, after non-smoking, was for at least one villa to have a larger balcony. Neither one had a large balcony, but we did have enough room for 4 of us to watch Illuminations if we were standing.
I would definately request it if it is that important to you but its hard to say if you will get it.
Good Luck!

Buzz.... I stayed in a fifth floor 1-bedroom at BCV last July on the 5th floor. We had a view of the quiet pool, Dunes Cove. The nice thing about this location, it was very close to the main hotel. Next time I stay at BCV I will probably request a view of Epcot, just so I can try that. Beach Club has DVD players in the 1-bedrooms if you are looking to entertain your kids. I am trying Old Key West in July. Have fun.:)

You are right, Buzz. I would be happy with whatever BCV villa I got.
