DVC points question

My friend Jason and I are going to DLR next weekend and he has a friend who is giving him DVC points so we can possibly stay at one of the 3 resort hotels (we have yet to find out which one). How do the DVC points work? Do we have to pay for anything? Any info is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

If your friend made reservations for you using DVC points then I think you are all set. The only costs to you will be whatever you charge back to the room. Have fun!

Re: DVC points question

If you book a DL resort room via DVC points all you are responsible for is getting there, your food, and tickets. There will be NO monetary fee for the room at all, unless you charge things to the room like phone calls, internet access, etc... that's it. We've stayed at the Disneyland Hotel using DVC points and come June we are staying at the Grand Californian on DVC points. We love it! Have fun!

Re: DVC points question

Thanks for the info but it seems that all of the rooms DVC rents out from the 3 hotels at DLR have all been booked all ready so we will just be staying at the Anabella in like we had planned before. But hey...its a nice hotel and across from DCA, So I guess I cant complain.....But it's still not a DLR hotel *shrug*
