Last Tuesday, we were in the front of the monorail and I asked the driver what all the construction was about- He laughed and said it is- "TOP SECRET NOTHING- That is all I can say.....it is nothing".

Not for nothing, but when we were there in October, the maitre 'd at California Grille all but confirmed, and also mentioned that there was supposed to be a pretty cool walking-bridge up pretty high.

There are so many people who are interested in this resort DVC. I bet it sells faster than any other DVC resort. Especially now that the program has been around long enough to get a nice reputation.

OK, here's my bit for the rumor mill. When I asked my DVC rep about this he said there is no guarantee that it will become DVC. He said Bonnet Creek was supposed to be DVC and "Burbank" took it away (?) They are all hoping that it will be DVC, but they can't say for sure - even though it is registered that way in permits.
Of course it is his job to get people to buy SSR and sell it out first, so take that for what you will.

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Disney is now calling this "Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort", at least in the latest filings with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
