DVC annual pass question.

I always purchased annual passes on-line, received the exchange certificate, then traded that in once we arrived. Although, I think I might be cutting time too close to order my pass on-line now b/c I need it for our "Girl Trip" which is Aug. 22nd-25th. It says on the website that you CAN purchase a DVC pass at "any Guest Relations location at all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks and the Downtown Disney area." Has anyone done this? I don't want a problem when I arrive, you just go up to the ticket window and show your DVC card?

I always wondered that as well. Did our AP rate go up as well?

Re: DVC annual pass question.

Yes, we do it all the time Wish. We bought our last APs at the AK Guest Relations with no problem at all. Also have purchased them at MGM and the MK. Personally, I'd suggest getting it at the Marketplace the day you get there - saves time. You'd think they'd have them for sale at the DVC properties - but evidently that makes too much sense. I'm totally shocked about the increase too. Neil and I have our APs - good until next January, but both are kids need new ones. I'm thinking of gettng Park Hoppers for them - we have a ton of old tickets with PI and the waterparks still on them - so we'd only need the basics. Did you happen to notice the price of the basic 7 day park hopper - no extras?

You can also get them a guest service in DTD. Don't forget your DVC discount.

Re: DVC annual pass question.

When I called DVC on Saturday & ordered over the phone, they offered me a Will Call number to provide at Guest Relations and claim our tickets. So you could always call now and have them waiting for you...incase you feel there may be issues over price/DVC discounts when you get there. There's no charge to do it that way either.

Re: DVC annual pass question.

It's the $434 (including tax I think) before the $100 DVC discount.
