Did anyone notice that 2/3rds of the names on the list are SSR?? For a resort that many seem to "not prefer" it has alot of members. I for one think SSR is a great resort!

I have said before that I looked at all the room pics and weighed all the options and decided for many reasons to go there- and I have never actually been there!

It's probably b/c it's SUCH a huge resort to fill & they've offered A LOT of incentives to buy there; like double points on your 1st year, big referral discounts, etc. I like SSR but if I would have known that AKV were coming next I would have 100% without a doubt waited. AKL is my favorite Disney resort EVER and when I joined it was hardly even a rumor yet. I am just thankful to be a member & able to go as often as we do!

We love SWA, the flights are cheap and they very friendly. We just joined DVC and can't wait to hear the 'official' Welcome Home. We've heard it in the past but we weren't members so it wasn't real, I want to hear it for real.

As if that thought hasn't run through my head a couple of zillion times since I figured our tax refund last night!!! Hopefully my calculations are close to the CPA's...

DVC tidbit: While we own at SSR, right now our favorite is BCV due to the awesome pool area. It was a favorite afternoon spot for our twin 6 year old DD's. My personal favorite is OKW due to the size of the rooms. As for DVC resorts we are looking forward to trying ALV and VWL...and of course the new Contemporary when it opens.
