Home Resort: Saratoga Springs Members Since: August 2007 DVC Tidbit: We purchased a 60 point resale contract. My 3 daughters and I are staying at AKL in a studio for 6 nights in April (5 nts on points/1 nt cash with DVC discount) and in August our whole family is staying for 6 nights at the Boardwalk in a 1 bedroom villa (2 nts on points/4 nts cash with DVC discount). This is a dream come true for us after almost 30 years of visiting WDW and we have plans to add on points as finances allow in the future. We LOVE our DVC!!!!!

Member since: 2003 Home Resort: BCV DVC tidbit: We bought into the BCV sight unseen. We joined the DVC based on family and friend recommendations. We had the choice between BCV and the BW. While on the phone making the purchase, I asked Mrs. Elmo which resort - her reply was the BCV or whatever.

The funny thing is that being in real estate and seeing timeshare sales from inside the business I just knew I'd never own a timeshare. Well, I bought a week RESALE for $150 then exchanged for Orange Lake. I was hooked. I bought and sold several other weeks and never paid more than $1200 for the deed, and as low as $1 a week. Then I started checking out DVC and bought it sight unseen. My DVC rep LOVED me. No tour, no questions, cash deal.
