When we lived in GA we would go and use our points as often as possible, but since moving to VA, can only go twice a year. Favorite DVC resort is OKW, have stayed there at least 12 times. SSR only once. In October we are having a Family vacation at SSR. DVC and APs are the an easy way to vacation with the Mouse.
Moving to Vrginia is NO EXCUSE! Where are you? Guess that REALLY makes us NEIGHBORS! We have Southwest (love those NON STOP flights from Norfolk!) & Airtran. Jet Blue in Richmond.

Of course, twice a year isn't TOO bad!

We live in Ashburn near DC. I grew up in Newport News. Went to High School there. True twice a year is not bad. The second trip this year is a family reunion. My wife gets all of the kids and grandbabies at SSR and on a Disney Cruise.

DVC Tidbit: Surprised to be joining, but excited! I hope to stay at VWL as much as possible, but wanted to get the double points promotion. I am just happy to be able to think about Deluxe accomodations without the cost brining me down.

DVC Tidbit: Brought us an early wedding present when we got engaged at Epcot. Invited the wedding party down to a villa at OKW during part of the honeymoon. Always get that warm fuzzy feeling when they welcome me home!

Tidbit: Looked into it in 2000 and wish we bought then. Can't wait to stay at AKL since that's alway been our fav resort. Staying at BCV this year and can't wait to float around Stormalong Bay.
