Room Keys ???

Okay, so we are planning our FIRST DVC vacation! YEAH! But while we talked to MS I got a bit confused

and was hoping someone can help clear this up for us.
We aren't booking a package anymore so we have to purchse our dining plan and tickets seperately and so on. Okay, so do we have a room key, a dining plan card, and tickets all on seperate things?

Do I end up with one of those paper tickets or an actual card? Do they just add it all onto your room key so we don't have to walk around with RK, DPC, PT and our mbr cards too? Oh and I can't forget the Visa Rewards card! Can you still pay for things on your room key or not? How does all this work now that we're mbrs?
Prior to DVC membership we purchase our package and everything just goes all right on your room key, except the Rewards card of course.
So what happens now? Please help me

You add the DDP thru DVC MS, and pay for it when you check-in. It will then be on your room card. You can buy tickets anywhere and have them put on your room card at check-in as well.

Thank you so much! I got a little worried b/c the MS I talked to didn't make it sound that way. So is it best to just purchase the tickets at chcek in? Or online if we want to pay prior to arrival?

We bought our tickets from the WDW website prior to going. I contacted MS and they told me that tickets bought from somewhere other than the desk at check-in were not added to the room key so we'd have to carry them separate.

I'm not a DVC owner, but rent points when I can get them. I buy the dining and tickets seperately when I do rent points and last time had two tickets...one for parks and the other one served as my room key/dining card. It was a little annoying having two cards...I was constantly afraid I was going to lost them as I always end up being in charge of holding everything... This time I am going to request that they put them all on one card for me if it's possible. I bought my tickets through disney.com, so I hope they can do it for me. They told me they couldn't do it last time cause I didn't buy the tickets at the resort...I will have to just ask the right CM I suppose....I have heard of so many people being able to do it, so I don't understand why I was unalble to.

Oh! So I guess I may just plan on buying them right at the front desk, it's not like they'll run out of tickets or turn me down. I just like having it all paid for prior to the visit! I guess I can handle it this way.
I'm so impatient, December is SOOOOOOOO far away!

You could call and order your tickets and Will Call them and have the resort print them when you arrive. You get he pre-order discount and don't have to worry about forgetting them.

Who do I call because DVC MS told me I wouls have to purchase them seperately and have seperate tickets instead of having on my room key. Should I call the regular WDW # instead of DVC?

Oh sorry! We leave on the 7th so we'll be missing it by a few days. I would love to be able to attend tho. I'm newer to MB so I am very curious as to what it is your doing. Maybe our next trip! Or will you be there this Aug 20-24th?

Nope. But not to worry. I'll get video. And to be honest? As to what it is I am doing? Besides being in a parade in the AK and playing the accordion with the Biergarten boys in EPCOT,

I will be a low-key, quiet, shy kind of person.
