What is DVC member day?

I was searching Ebay today as I sit here with nothing to do because Im home with a sick sleeping child

What and when is Member day? I also seen some other things like chip clips,DVC lanyanrds,playing cards and ect ect. Do they sell them at the dvc properties?

I know at SSR they sold DVC merchandise e.g rain macs, christmas baubles, magnets, luggage tags, glass wear, pens, key chains, t-shirts, flasks, hats, mousemats etc, and when we visited AKL they had a similar selection of merchandise.
