I wish I was!! Well, actually I wish I could call and plan a trip to ANYWHERE. I'd stay at POP if it meant I could go back.

I read on another board that BLT is going to be open sooner than expected and DVC is going to make an announcement soon. One person said her guide told her they could book this Sunday and BLT is going to open early august now. Has anyone here heard from their guide?

Maybe a call to your guide would confirm or disprove this. I really don't know if it's true--it could be just another Internet rumor.

I will do that... we are limited with our week for vacation, so I do need to call as soon as ressies open up!

What do you all think: should we stay for 6 nights in a 1 bedroom (MK view), or for 9 nights in a studio (MK view)? We will be 3 or 4 people (DH will be there for a part of the vacation).

Although 9 days would be amazing, there is no stovetop in the studio. The 1 bedroom models were just SOOOO nice, but the point cost for Christmas night (Friday) is 94 points! So, we'd be checking out on Christmas day if we stayed for 6 nights since 94 points is beyond my limit.

They are both almost the same points for my dates (254 vs 252). Planning December's vacation is keeping me sane!

Hmmm, I am having a tough time deciding how many nights & which view I want also!!! We're in a bit of a pickle because Daniel REALLY REALLY wants to go for his birthday BUT his birthday is December 18th, right before Christmas break and I am a teacher.

The most I can use at one time is 3 paid personal days but we are NEVER allowed to take off the day before or after a school break. Ugh, tricky.

With your situation I would be MORE likely to do the studio, MK view, for 9 nights. Only because 9 nights is always better than 6.

ALTHOUGH, you said there will be 3-4 people. Are those all adults or are there children in there? The studios aren't huge & I always feel like unless we're staying in an OKW studio they are kinda tight for 4 people (unless there were two children, that would make it better). How often do you use the stovetop in the 1-bedroom units? I think I would LOVE having the washer/dryer with 4 people but I probably qouldn't use the stovetop as much.

Tough choice. Hmmm.

Oh gosh, don't start getting me nervous.

I am already going to have to call while I am in Fort Lauderdale this weekend so I'll already be paranoid that I'll forget, now I am getting paranoid that the lines will be OOC and I won't get what I want.
