OK, so here is my dilemma & I need help deciding. Like I said in the post above, Daniel really has his heart set on staying at BLT for the first time for his birthday. His birthday is December 18th, which is a Friday. I am a teacher and we get out of school for Christmas break on the 23th. The trick is that I can't take more than 3 personal days off in a row & we are NEVER allowed to take the day off before or after a school break. Yeah, so unfortunately this puts me in a real pickle. I don't see any way how we could go for a full 7 nights without me taking 2 unpaid days along with my 3 personal.

And obviously, I don't really want to take 2 unpaid days right before Christmas. So, all things considered which should I choose & why? OH, and we only have 100 points to use so that's another trick.

A: Dec. 16th-20th (4 nights), MK View studio, for 92 points. (only using my 3 personal days)

B: Dec. 16th-19th (3 nights), Lake View 1-bedroom, for 105 points. (only using my 3 personal days)

C: Dec. 16th-21st (5 nights), Lake View studio, for 93 points. (I'd have to use my 3 personal days & try to finagle a sick day)

D: Dec. 12th-19th (7 nights), Standard View studio, for 103 points (eek, I'd use my 3 personal days, and either attempt to finagle 2 sick days or take two unpaid.

I like choice A. Great view, Still have plenty of time to see the lights, on budget for points and no guilt for taking days off you feel that you shouldn't.

Ya know, I'm betting A LOT of new owners have NO CLUE the booking date has changed if they haven't received an email, a call from their guide or if they aren't in the "know" like we are because we frequent Disney Boards. I'm HOPING we will all get what we want.

As for your dilemma...I'd go with choice A or choice C.
