BLT owners may make BLT ressies this Sunday, Feb 8 for stays starting 08/04/09.

Mike that was suppose to be a secret until I made my reservation.

Then you could tell people.

But thanks for the info, that's a real shock. I'm sure most people thought the opening would run late not three weeks early.

All Disney Vacation Club Members may book reservations for Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort and the Treehouse Villas accommodations at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa beginning on Feb. 22.

Construction of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort remains ahead of schedule, putting the new Disney Vacation Club Resort on pace for an estimated opening on Aug. 4.

In related news, with Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort scheduled to open on Aug. 4, the original Disney's Contemporary Resort will leave The Disney Collection on March 14. Until then, Members may continue booking Disney's Contemporary Resort reservations through The Disney Collection for stays with check-out days on or before Dec. 31, 2009.

Yep it's official. BLT is opening a month early. Official Email just came in.

Of course it is restricted for DVC Members named Mike or Richard for Sunday. The rest of you can call on Monday. Except for people named Jessica. They get to call on Tuesday after next.

When I got home from work today there was a message from my rep. letting me know & an e-mail in my inbox! So cool, LITERALLY this past weekend Daniel and I were discussing when our first stay would be so now I have dates ready to go!

I wish I could stay a full 7-nights this time but I think we're only doing 5 days for Daniel's birthday.

Well, it's not a very long trip. We get there at 9am Saturday morning & our returning flight is Monday at 5pm.

Daniel's WHOLE family is getting together 'cause his Brother is finally back from Columbia & nobody has really seen him in the past 3 years, especially Daniel. So we'll be pretty busy. Although, I did say I wanted to meet Veronica for a drink 'cause she lives right near Dan's Mom but we don't have any concrete plans/times yet 'cause I know I have a lot going on with his family.
