The AP perk is really the only one I care about.....the discounts for tours and shopping don't add up for me since I don't do much of either.

I don't know the details exactly, but in the early yrs of DVC, I think APs were free. Any owners from waayyyy back know???

we get the AP...we combine two trips into one AP.....11 days last year and 11 days this yaer before they expire...also used them for 5 days in oct as an extra when we did the cruise ..it is the only way to go...being dvc members ....also we don not renew until the next time we go...since we are not going to be there no reason to have them ...so we got three trips a total of 27 days ...on one annual pass...the most we ever got out of one pass was 33 dys one year on 3 trips ...as far as we are concerned it is the only way to go....especially for the second or third trip...

We get AP but not every year. We go a few trips then skip a yr or so. Then get another AP, few more trips, etc....

That is what we do also. We just completed our third trip in 9 months! It will be the last of our trips for about two and a half years, but then we will try to do 3 trips that year as well. (summer 2011, christmas break 2011, spring break 2012)

This is one perk I hope they NEVER take away!!!

This is our first year with APs (got them in Dec) and have used them 11 days already, may go back in June and then 2 weeks in August, so it will definitely work for us this year.

I actually DON'T have an AP...but I would definitely get one if we had 2 trips within a 12 month period. It is a DEAL if I ever saw one!!!!!
