I will do that because I hadn't seen many pictures before I arrived. The guys and kids start all their golf tomorrow so I'll have a lot more quite time once they hit the courses. I think they're playing 3-4 times starting tomorrow so they'll be busy all week.

We are. It's so nice to have no real plans for a vacation. The kids and guys have tee times reserved and Nate and Lauren have some lessons booked but that's all we planned before we got here. I LOVE HHI, we haven't ever stayed at the Disney Resort because we have a condo in Sea Pines. We go there all the time so if you need any restaurant suggestions let me know! Have a great trip!

I am loving the sound of your trip..so relaxing!!! When you cross the street from Shelter Cove into Palmetto Dunes and the bus takes you to the "Dunes House" (I think they still do that) that's where I grew up! My old house is just a little further down that street. The fireworks should be tonight too!

Sounds like you're enjoying the beach. What's Nates take on HHI? Just curious on how a young one compares WDW to another Disney resort. I guess I always wondered if there is enough to keep them entertained. Happy Birthday Nate!

Welcome to BEAUTIFUL Beaufort Cnty. Hope you enjoy your Disney stay in our wonderful neck of the woods. Sitting here eating lunch and wishing I took the day off. It is really hard coming to work each day living down here.

If you decide to travel one island over and visit historic downtown Beaufort let me know. I can give you all the scoop on what you can do for a realy relaxing visit in the historic downtown. (843) 812-8404

Enjoy your time in the SC Lowcountry. We arrived here in 1989 and my wife has refused to consider any move away from Gods country as she calls it.

We hit the beach at 9 am today and loved the low tide. The kids had a blast looking at all the sea life that was left behind. We always go to the gulf and there isn't a lot of difference between high and low tide but there sure is here. It seemed like the difference was a mile, I know it wasn't but it sure seemed like it.

The kids want to go to a Kobe Steakhouse tonight so that's where we're going. After that they want to hit the pool again, big surprise there.

We adore the Disney HHI resort. We went last year for Spring Break. Had to cancel this year when I lost my job but we are still hoping to get back. The boys loved the low country shrimp boil and they went fishing everyday. Try to go on one of the Dolphin spotting trips. A fun place to eat is the Salty Dog also!! It is Disney without the parks! Have fun!! Can't wait to see the pictures!
