We just got back from the beach so Nate can go to his golf lesson this afternoon. After he's done we're going to the BBQ here at the resort then we'll watch the fireworks and let the kids swim.

It's been a very relaxing week so far. We haven't been in a hurry to do anything and our plans are made as they happen, no long term planning needed.

I'm going to try to get some pictures of the resort while Nate's at his lesson this afternoon. I've forgotten to take my camera with me when I leave the room.

I don't think I can do it justice.

We just came back to the room so the kids can change to swim. The BBQ was a blast, Nate loved all the games and prizes.

We met Shadow today, FINALLY!

Off to the pool for a swim and fireworks.

We are having a great time. Yesterday was rainy so we decided to take the kids shopping while the guys played golf. They were thrilled to find some T shirt and shell shops to blow money in.

It looks like the weather is better today so I'm not sure what we're going to do. We've not planned anything so far and it's been nice.

We are having a wonderful trip. Traffic hasn't been bad at all, nothing like I expected. We have quickly gotten used to the traffic circles and actually like them, we want to take one home with us.

You came to the Lowcountry at the right time for travelers, bad time for SC travel business. The numbers are down along the coast from Myrtle Beach to HHI. I see it on the roads everyday. I was even able to get home today in under 15 minutes. It is usually a 30 minute trip on a Friday as everyone is starting to arrive.
As to the circles I love them. Unfotunately the average driver in SC is too stupid to use them or they have been engineered improperly. I grew up with them in NJ and they were great, spent 3 years in Europe and everyone could go through them without a problem. But put them here in SC and watch your insurance rate go up. Take a few home if you want. Our local roads will be safer.
