Re: Possible DVC Members!

We did the tour at WDW in August and are considering purchasing in the next few years. It looked like there were a LOT of other vacation options other than WDW every year; I'm curious what other places people have been to. Did you enjoy the resort and how was the service? Also, we were thinking that 250 points is what we would need to be able to have 2 one week vacations every year; can anyone offer advice?

Buy what you can afford. You can always add more points if you need more and can afford it.

Solid advice. This is how we did ours. As the children grew and we need more room, we added on.

well depending on the time of year those points can get a little more than 2 weeks.....http://advc.disney.go.com/media/dvc_...pdf.....almost three weeks for studio......but we started with 180..and if you make the deal during some promos ,you get a back year free ..and you have 2 years to use them or bank them if used wisely it will help the first several years .....then we added 50 points and will soon add about another 80 points we feel for us that 320 points is what we need for thsi time in our life...but don't wait ..I suggest talking to randy kruger he is the best ...and he is a dec use guy just like me and there are some pluses to that time of year
