Desparately Looking for Info of Disney Hilton Head Resort
Anyone have info, we are thinking about taking the kids over the Presidents Day holiday (was going to do disney again till the school took back the Feb 11th and 12th and added them to the Easter vacation). We would go from Feb 12th to the 16th. Will it be nice or is it to cold to visit at this time (I'm not looking to swim here!!!) However I don't want to freeze my behind off I can do that here in NJ.
Any help will be appreciated. Paula

Honestly, Paula, South Carolina weather in February is .... well.... like South Carolina weather year-round.... totally unpredictable!!! I have been to Fripp Island (within 30 miles) in the 2nd week in Feb several times... one year we could swim... one year we needed hats and gloves.
I've never been to HH, but Mickey has and I am sure he can provide some insight into the activities available at the resort. The research I've done on HH is that the activities are limited until March but there are still somethings available that may or may not be outdoors. Too bad I'll be in O'town at the Meet & Greet or I'd join ya! I am dying to check out the resort. HEY!... why don't you just come on down to the M&G????

Anne:
I really wanted to do the meet and greet. I even was willing to to the budget thing and stay in POR (can't stay at PC because their are 5 of us). My sons were suppose to off Feb 11, 12, 13, 14. 15 and 16th. Well yesterday Aaron came home and said they were changing. A quick call to school and some twisting of arms I found out it's true. I still trying thought. You can't imagine how bad I want to come. Hey I 've been pouting for days to pull this off and then when they took those days away that kinda blew it for us. Here's my angle now my DSGF and her Mom want to get away and we talking about maybe going (leaving the dad's (or partypooers as we call them) at home). I just have to talk the girls into driving a little pass Hilton Head to Disney. Wish me luck!!! If I can pull this off we will pull into O-town on Friday around 3pm. If not it'll be HH. Paula

Disney's Hilton Head is part of the Disney Vacation Club, the Disney Timeshare program. Rooms available include studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom villas, along with a limited number of grand villas.
Shoot for a one or two bedroom. You get large rooms with full kitchens, washer/dryer, dishwasher, large showers and jacuzzi. That's just to name a few features. Go to this site for more information, which includes photo's: www.disneyvacationclub.com :) |
