Best way to pay annual dues
Speaking of fees. Does anyone find it beneficial to pay the dues up front (I think they are due in January) or pay monthly? We have not decided yet and we will be getting our paperwork soon. Maybe today. Thanks in advance.

We pay ours up front, in January. They accept VISA and Mastercard, and as of this month, American Express in addition to checks.
Of course, we really don't have the option, since we did not finance through Disney, it is due in January.

I guess it is personal preference thing; we have our DVC dues deducted from our checking account every month and it works out great. I prefer that over having to come up with several hundred dollars in December with all my other x-mas bills.

We do a little of both. Our mortgage payments are automatically deducted from our account each month while we pay our annual dues in one lump sum in January. It's kind of a personal preference deal...

Thanks for the great info. I think we will pay it monthly but I would like to get it out of the way in Jan. We will have to look at our bills, etc. to see what is best. As far as I know, there is no extra fee to pay monthly, so I guess it doesn't matter. Thanks again. Looking forward to our first stay at SS. We also booked 4 nights at Vero in June! I guess I need to add that to my counter.:D

We chose monthly since it cost nothing extra. I think it easier to pay a bit every month instead of a bunch in January.

I, like Spike, have set up automatic monthly deductions from my checking account. It is much easier on my finances than paying one lump sum, and the service doesn't cost anything. Win! Win!
