Room Preferences for Beach Club Villas

Does anybody have any advice on which Beach Club Villa rooms are preferable? I'm not thinking it terms of room numbers, but Epcot Side vs. Canal, higher vs. lower, etc. Does it even matter?

TIA,

-boo

I'd try and get a Villa as close to the lobby as possible. It can be a long trek from some of the Villas to the Beach Clubs lobby and Stormalong Bay area.

It's all a matter of personal preference. Some people want a certain view. My family is not in the villa long enough to care what view we get. And right now, I'd take any villa at BCV if I could be there right this very minute! The villas are all the same.

The one thing that does matter is if you have a 2 bedroom villa reserved and want 2 beds in the 2nd bedroom, you must have it reserved that way.

When we were their in 2003 we requested an Epcot view on an upper floor so we could see the fireworks. We got a third floor view facing Epcot, and we were able to see the fireworks every night right above the tree line. During the day you got a nice view of the service road. I guess it is what important to you, pool view, close to lobby, fireworks, etc.
Good luck.

Spike,

Were you able to see the fireworks from your room & what size room was it?

We are staying at BCV in a two bedroom for the first time in May. Sounds like you got the view I want!!

It was a Studio; unfortunately I don't remember the room number to give you a point of reference, but it was near the elevator furthest away from the main lobby.

For our trip in March, we requested a high floor, with a view of EPCOT. When I checked in (early, around 9 AM), they showed me the three that were available for our 7 night stay that fit my requirement. I chose the one I wanted. Make sure you ask when you check in what is availalbe. We had room on the fourth floor, right next to the wing that sticks out towards EPCOT. I was a bit worried on the map that we wouldn't be able to see the fireworks, but they were great, we could see the whole thing, plus great views of the world showcase in the morning before we left.

I snuck into a room on the other side of the wing, and was not really happy with the view. You could basically see the cranes at Soarin", and that was it. I really like were we were, close enough to the main elevator, not far from the second elevator, and a great view. Oh, and we had two bedroom.
