DVC video

I just went to DVC website and requested the video. We have a few friends who are members and we have started pondering whether or not is will be good for us. We are in our early to mid 30's with a 15, 13, and 11 y/o. I'm hoping that the video can give us some insight and if not we might do the Open House on our next trip to answer any other questions. We would really have to feel like it is a good investment for us to do it.

I also looked at the video before buying. After viewing it and deciding we wanted to look into this, I spoke to the DVC people.
I also requested a sample copy of the contract so I could look it over and ask questions.

If you decide to do it give them one of your friends names as a referring person. They will get $200 Disney dollars.

The video is really just a marketing piece. We watched a couple of years prior to buying. You should really plan to take the tour & speak to members. These are your best sources for info.:)

Re: DVC video

I agree. The video is nice but doesn't do the DVC justice. I strongly suggest that you go an make an appointment. Judy Kaufman was our rep and she is great. The presentation is very informative with tons of numerical info. which I like. Most important of all it was extremely low key. I feel more pressure choosing a candybar at a checkout counter than I did there!

NOT if you live in Texas (and some other states, but which ones, I'm not sure!) They do NOT give residents of Texas any type of compensation for referring someone. Too bad. I referred my sister and her family and they referred her in-laws.

At least we have family that belong to DVC now!! Having my sister a part of DVC was good enough for me!!!
