We have an early Nov. 2010 reservation made and I'm thinking last year they were sometime in the fall.
If reservations have already been made thru Disney with meal plan included will they credit me the cost and I will be included in free meal plan if it co-incides with our dates?

flight took us to MCO on time, my youngest two children thought we were going to the hotel for a few days. Once we hit MCO they knew the Mouse was involved. We took the shuttle to Port Canaveral which was packed (the shuttle):laugh:
note: They used to check you in for the cruise at the dock, but now if you fly you check in at the airport, get your key to the world etc there. Only folks that drive straight there check in at the dock. (received my Castaway Club lanyards for myself, DH and youngest two, oldest chose not to go on the first cruise despite our using points for her to go,so she didn't receive one, this was her first cruise. She wasn't happy, that's what happens when you say no to the mouse.:laugh:)

We arrive at the dock at about 11:00am, can't get on the ship until 12. Hanging around, check out the DVC booth which was unmanned :pinch: Signed the kids up for the Oceanears Club and then went and took pics to go with our KTW cards. A lot has changed in the last 14 mths from the first cruise. A lot more security measures. Once on board we got lunch at Parrot Cay, on of the three main dining halls. It has a island theme, during lunch we ran into our old server Vesco loved him.

Lunch(don't remember what anyone ate :laugh::blush::laugh::laugh::blush:) was over, but too early to enter the rooms (hallways sectioned off until 1:30) so we watched a movie by the pool. DD5 driving us bananas to drop her off at the kids club, but to our horror doesn't open until 6:00pm. (the first cruise we kept them with us most of the time because they were so little and we get crazy for our kids, but the little time they spent there they loved and they made us promise to let them spend more time there)

Personally i am not sure how I feel about this. It was kinda nice being able to go there for a romantic meal in the evening y'know? When I make our ADRs can I make 1 reservation for all 7/8 people on one rese or will i have to make 3 separate ADR's.

I guess what I am trying to say is that if I book the ADRs under my confirmation number I only have 3 people booked and I want ADRs for 7/8. Is that allowed?

We can't help but feel that we're getting more bang for our buck at WDW. We've done WDW twice and now that we're further west, the "easier" trip would be to DLP. There's something to be said for seeing the "original", but there's so much to do at WDW. Are we not giving DLP enough of a chance? We know the physical differences between the two, but can a DLP trip be just as good? Everytime we look at DLP and think our minds are made up, we look at the WDW site and get second thoughts. We've had so many good memories at WDW (DD's 6th bday, DS's 1st bday), we're wondering if DLP will be able to live up to the Magic we felt at WDW. I would like to get the AP discount for my Mom who will likely have one or two of my kids in her room. The information that I can find says you may book one room with each adult pass. Because I paid the adult price for my 12 and 16 year old, does this mean that I can book a room using their AP?

Typical..LOL. Not one showing of Spectro the entire time..have they canceled that parade and I missed the news on that? It's possible since I haven't been on that much. They have tons of EMHs the ten days I am there and that's cool. I like to hit the parks VERy early and take advantage of them. The night EMHs not so much. They are ridiculously crowded and a waste of time unless they run until midnight or later. So now I must redo any plans that I did make and redo my dining plans. I wasn't booking that many places, but the days would need to be changed as they won't work with the new park hour schedule...oh well.
