Princess Story Book Breakfast to premier at EPCOT.

Disney is introducing a new character breakfast that will feature Disney princesses and friends. The official list of which character involved has yet to be released. The breakfast will be held at Restaurant Akershus in Norway. Currenlty this is only a test, and will be offered from July 28 until October 26, and may or may not be continued at that time. The cost will be $15.99 for adults and $8.99 for kids 3-11. Reservations can be made starting July 16, 2002 by calling (407) WDW-DINE. Breakfast will be buffet style, and feature scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, french toast and fresh fruit and juices.

I will post the official press release when I receive it.

As a follow-up, I just got of the phone confirming this story with WDW-DINE, and they just received the note this morning. Also, I asked about Cinderella's, and I was told that demand has fallen way off, and that there is still availability for quite a few days in September. She stated that instead of filling up in a matter of minutes, there was now a big rush in the first 10 minutes, but not everything is filling up, and there is often availability for weeks.

Wow! Awesome news on both items! My daughters will love eating with the Princesses on our next trip - I hope the Epcot breakfast sticks around.

I'm really glad to hear about both breakfasts. I wonder if the change in the reservations (for the castle) have made the difference. At least people who are wanting to eat there are now getting the chance, or a better chance than before. When I saw the Cinderella Breakfast for sale on e-bay that is when I knew Disney had hit an all time low. I was so happy to see they made the change so that wouldn't happen again (or hopefully won't happen). Thanks for the news Mickey! :)

Mickey I took advantage of you awesome news. I booked at PS for the Princess Storybook Breakfast tonight. It is for Saturday, October 5th. I had to take advantage of this opportunity. It may not be there for my next trip. Thanks for the information. I didn't notice this breakfast on Disney's website. Are they not posting it because it's in the "test stage" or did I miss it? Thanks again.:)

I booked the Princess breakfast, too. I wanted to hit the Wine & Food Festival on Oct 19, so I make the PS for that morning figuring I'd just be grazing throughout the world the rest of the day. Like Dana said, who knows if it will be there next time!

:) I am vey excited to hear about both breakfasts. After 6 trips to "The World" I have never been able to make the Cinderella breakfast & hopefully they will continue the Princess breakfast @ EPCOT. Thanks for the info.:)
