Disney shutting down most of Disney Institute.
In a surprise move, Disney announced yesterday that they are building a new Disney Vacation Club. Building a new vacation club is not surprising in itself, but demolishing an entire resort to build it is. The Orlando Sentinel is reporting today that the the majority of the Disney Institute is to be demolished and construction of the new DVC is to start this Spring. It is also hinted in the article that the rest of the Disney Institute could be removed to make way for the construction of additional timeshare units.
