Le Cellier, Chef de France, Cinderella's Royal Table, etc.

You do not have to use one per day. You could have three sit down meals in one day, or all your snacks all at one sitting.

The other dining package is basically the gold plan now, and runs about $135 per night per adult.
does this include any other options? How will it affect those with the silver plan now?
We are going in late Jan so the new plan will be in place. We are doing Cirque and Fultons and using the wishes as adult things and paying seperate for the kids. We figure that its about $103 for the wishes a day and we bought vouchers for the kids breakfasts. We booked whoopddoo and activity centers for the kids- basicly we utilized all of the wishes to their fullest and will this kill all of our plans??

Re: New Magic Your Way WDW Packages

If you have a current silver plan booked, it will no effect you at all. You will get everything that you booked.

There are no other options with the new dining plan. You can't use the wishes for anything but the meals.

Re: New Magic Your Way WDW Packages

Can you pick how many nights you want the dining plan? For example, I might buy the 10 day pass for two trips. If my first trip is only 5 nights, can I buy the meal plan for these five nights? This is so confusing and I am not sure which way to go. The prices on the dining plan seem really cheap.

Am I correct in assuming that the dining plan is only available to those staying on property?

Re: New Magic Your Way WDW Packages

Where are you all finding info on the dining plan? I just took a look at the main site and got bland and rather vague info

The dining plan has to be for the length of your stay. So, if you are staying 5 nights, the plan must be for 5 nights. The ticket can be for any length, they no longer will require you to get a legth of stay pass.

Yes, that is true. I know they have a Swan/Dolphin plan, a DTD Hotel plan and a Good Neighbor plan, but you have to be staying in a Disney owned and operated hotel to get the dining plan.

Disney has a special website for travel agents, and the information is there.

Might be easier to post which ones are not included:

Signature Restaurants
Artist's Point
Jiko
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Bistro de Paris
Coral Reef
L'Originale Alfredo
Flying Fish
California Grill
Citricos
Narcoossee's

Dinner Shows
Hoop De Doo
Spirit of Aloha
Mickey's Backyard BBQ

You can trade two sit down dinners for one signature restaurant or one Dinner Show. Please note that Victoria & Alberts is not included at all.

The only DTD restaurant is Captain Jack's as a sit down. None of the other DTD restaurants are included.

Re: New Magic Your Way WDW Packages

Don't worry about your silver plan, nothing will change at all. They will honor everything about it, just as it there weren't any new plans.

The Magic Your Way premium plan includes breakfast, lunch and dinner per person per night, unlimited use of recreation, kids clubs, tours and Cirque tickets. The cost is about $139 per adult and $81 for kids.

Re: New Magic Your Way WDW Packages

$35 per adult and $10 per child sounds like a good deal to me ($90/day for my family of four) especially if you can use the sit-down meal for a character meal.

I think I will exchange my 5-day Park Hoppers for the new tickets with the hopper option and the dining plan. Just want to make sure this is the good deal I think it is...

Am I right in thinking that whatever PS's you have now (for Feb.) will be honored with the new dining plan?

Thanks!!

Rich, the PSes won't change at all. It will just depend upon the restaurant where you are eating. If it is included in the plan, then it won't be a problem. If it is not, then you might have to change it (or pay cash).

Re: New Magic Your Way WDW Packages

do you think that they will give me a hard time switching a silver plan to this if we chose to? Im thinking that the gold version of this plan works out to be $5 more per meal but we also have more meals to have- I wish there was a better site to look over all the details! I know with the silver plan you have to use wishes here and there but with the gold you have unlimited things and the wishes are not taken so you still get to use them for food. I am thinking that it might be worth doing and having lots to use for food- any thoughts>
