Mousesavers is reporting the Walt Disney World has released room only discounts for Annual Passholder for the dates of February 17 through April 16, 2005. You must check in during those dates to receive a discount. Rumor has it that you will not be able to use these rates if you are checking in on a Friday or Saturday.

Sample Rates
* Value Resorts (All Stars and Pop Century) - $74 standard
* Moderate Resorts - $104 standard
* Animal Kingdom Lodge - $199 savannah view
* Contemporary - $199 garden wing standard view
* Other resorts, room types and views are available at varying prices!

Please contact our sponsor Mouseketrips to book these great room discounts. Just ask for code BEX to get your discount.

A valid Annual Passport is required at check in, and discount rates may not be available all nights.

they are a bit high, probably because that is considered "peak season". The next batch of rates, during "regular season" will hopefully be less

In Palm Beach, it's refered to as the "high" season. Guess what's high. You know the world travels to Florida in the winter to escape the cold and snow.

The value resorts regular rate is $77 per night plus tax. To me $74 per night plus tax is not much of a bargain. If they would cut the price $10 then I might consider it.

Actually, the nightly cost is $77 during value season. These rates are for peak season, when the nightly rate at a value resort is $109. My math is pretty poor, but I get about a 30% savings. Not bad at all.

I think it is high also. Since I will have to pay an extra $30 for two kids 18 and above, that would bring the moderates to $139/night. Not much of a discount compared to the standard rack rate.

We just purchased our annual passes for the first time, and received our exhchange tickets. Will Disney notify us of future discounted room rates, or our we on our own to figure them out. Any tips on how to book them, and can we before we exchange. Thanks for the help.
