Nine and 10-Day Magic Your Way Vacation Packages Now Available

Based on the success of Magic Your Way Packages and the high demand for extended lengths of stay, the following enhancements to Magic Your Way Vacations are effective immediately:
• You can now book 9-night and 10-night Magic Your Way and Magic Your Way Plus Dining packages, and tickets can be included in lengths of 1 - 7 days, and 10 days.
• Magic Your Way Premium Packages are now also available in 9-night and 10-night lengths, and they will automatically include a 10-day Magic Your Way Premium Ticket.

The Walt Disney World Travel Company will continue to develop vacation packages that provide the best possible Walt Disney Worldexperience.

Very cool. And on the other hand...not so cool. This means that booking a package for almost the entire time we'll be there IS an option, whereas it wasn't before. It was one less decision I had to think about!

Oh well. I moved on from the package thing. NOT gonna touch it. I'm just gonna book seperately as always.

But I do think it's cool they made extended packages! I'm with disneyguy...thought it was a little weird that they didn't in the first place, especially if the goal behind the MYW passes is to get people to stay longer!

Mickey, why does WDW offer UK 14 and 21 day passes but not to the US citizens? I understand they usually take longer vacations, but we do too. I happened to see it mentioned on an All Ears Newsletter .

Right now, a 10 night stay is as long as you can take. If you want to do longer, you have to book two reservations, back to back. I guess they figure if you are going to stay longer than 10 nights, you will buy an annual pass rather than a package.

For Europe, they standardly take 2 and 3 week vacations. While that exists here, it is rare. While I think we would all love 2 or 3 weeks at WDW, it just isn't realistic for most of us, which for UKers, it is. I think a lot of that has to do with history as well. In the past, you could buy a 20 day pass in the UK, for not much more than the cost a 7 day hopper plus.

Aren't these packages for a family of 4?

Do they have for a family of 5 and if so, what is the price at a moderate resort?

The packages can be for any size of family, any resort and any length of stay (as long as you don't want to stay longer than 10 nights, heaven forbid). The price will depend upon when you go, who is going, the ages of any kids, where you stay, what type of tickets you want and if you want either of the dining plans or not.

I agree with those who want longer packages. We always go for 14 days and used to have no problem with tickets because we always got a length of stay ticket. That gave us the freedom to go in and out of any park any day and included water parks, pleasure island, etc for the whole trip. And the price of the LOS ticket was much less than an Annual Pass so... we don't seem to have an option now...other than purchasing two packages which I doubt we would do. Hopefully Disney changes this quickly because we are ready to book but don't have the option we need.

This Disney site will only quote you a package for 10 days. If you put anything longer than 10, it will not work. I tried it and paniced. Then Mouseketrips told me it was ok, they only quote up to 10 days.
