I bet it's worth adding insurance. What if something catastrophic happens either at home or there? I would buy insurance. What do you think Mickey?

Laneysdad's deal sounds great to me.

I asked that question when I made my reservations through Mouseketrips. He suggested that I do it, esp. because we were leaving our children behind. But, it only covers the Disney part of the trip, not the flight. If you want that kind of insurance, buy refundable tickets.

At least, that's what I think he told me. I made those reservations in January, so I could be wrong...

I always buy the insurance. The time I don't will be the time I will have to cancel for some horrible reason, and we'll lose it all.

I just got off the phone with Disney to get prices for next year. The insurance doesn't cost that much. So i got it.Along with the dining package. For a family of 4. 7days- 6 nights $ 2,844.70 at a value resort.

For anybody who doesn't know yet, the dining plan will be 37.99 for adults for 2006. I think it went up $2 for kids too. And you can now book online, only thing is last time I checked there was a glich went you added the dining plan and it wouldn't let you. I'm still waiting to try and book one for Sept 2006. First trip in 15 years.

Kids only went up $1 to $10.99 per child. The site still is having problems. You can either book online without the dining and call and add it, or just call and book the entire thing.

I need to get saving so we can do the same thing. $2900 isn't bad for a family of four...

Do we think that Disney might release some package information like the $1500 advertised for right now?? I am looking at going in March of next year and It looks a little expensive for when I want to go. Early march- what makes it so popular then???

That may be spring break so that would make the prices higher. We don't get a spring break here so I am just guessing.
