Dining package now accepted for Candlelight Processional

AllEars is reporting that Disney World has started accepting the Magic Your Way dining pakages for use with the Candlelight Processional dinner packages:

Magic Your Way Dining Packages will NOW be accepted for Candlelight Processional Dinner Packages. All participating restaurants will be one entitlement, except for Coral Reef which will require two. You will still need to use a credit card to reserve your Candlelight Package. Guests using with the Magic Your Way plus dining or Magic Your Way Premium Dining Plan can participate.

No word yet on whether Disney World will extend this to other dining packages such as Fantasmic!

I have just booked my package and as I am using the dining plan I just needed a credit card to hold it!

I'm guessing that will make walk ups for CP so much harder to get. If there is no extra charge for dining plans, why not? The only gamble is if the night you choose, the weather is awful. But of course, that holds true for any extra ticket activity.

My understanding is that they will still limit the number of packages available per perfomance, only the payments accepted have changed.

I just got off the phone with WDW Dining and was told that the LeCellier Steakhouse Candlelight Package required TWO (2) Magic Your Way Dining Tickets. Is this true or did I just book with someone who wasn't up to date with the correct information?

I think it used to be two but its one now.

I didn't realize they limited the number of packages. Then again I never heard of CP until three yrs ago, so there is a whole lot I don't know.
