Any word yet on this event, Scott? I'll be at MF again and I'm not much for games, but I'm interested to hear what this event is.

Sorry everyone. I apologize for not posting this here sooner. Although this event is turning out quite a bit differently that we had originally planned, it's still going to be a great deal of fun. Here's the posting from the mousefest.org website:

****
Jim Hill Media Christmas Party sponsored by Mouseketrips
SATURDAY: 7:30 PM - Doubletree Guest Suites, 2305 Hotel Plaza Blvd
Join us for a fun and festive holiday dessert party. Watch as Disney experts
Jim Hill and Jim Korkis take the stage and try to top one another with the
Strangest, funniest, or most obscure Disney stories! Enjoy delectable
desserts and gourmet coffees. Also included are door prizes and screenings
of rare Disney-related films. Cost - $25 per person, full dessert buffet
included. Space is limited, reservations required to: scott@mouseketrips.com
****

For those of you who have never heard Mr. Hill speak in public, or perhaps don't know who Mr Korkis is, please trust me when I say that both of these gentlemen have forgotten more about Disney than I'll ever know. They are both incredibly talented speakers and entertainers, and have Disney stories that could last all night long.

If you're at all interested in the history of Disney, the behind-the-scenes stories, or maybe some of the future plans that the mouse has in mind, you'd be well served to come and hear the Jims speak. Plus, the desserts will be really tasty!

Oh, BTW, because DC-ers are among my favorite people, I'll knock the admission price down to $20 per person for any of you who want to attend. Just send me an e-mail at the address above with your RSVP and mention that you're a DC member to get the discount.

Hope to see you there!
