New Discounts on WDW Resort Packages!

Mousesavers.com is reporting that Disney is offering discounted packages on Moderate, Deluxe and Home away from Home Resorts at WDW from now through just before Christmas. If you are looking to go to WDW this year, you may be able to save big money!

NEW - Discounted Resort Magic and Discovery Magic packages offered through CRO! Significant discounts available for travel 3/4/02-12/19/02 (some blackout dates may apply). Valid on Moderate, Deluxe and Home-Away-From-Home resorts only - not good at the All Stars. You can potentially save several hundred dollars on these packages. For example, a Resort Magic package at Wilderness Lodge for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children ages 11 & 15) in a woods view room for 7 nights, 7/6 - 7/13 would normally be $3444.60. With code CUJ the price is $2896. Using the same family, resort and dates but with the Discovery Magic package, the regular price would be $5208.68, but using code CUK the price would be $4660.

* To book the specially discounted Resort Magic Package, either call CRO or contact a Disney Specialist travel agent and ask for Code CUJ.*
* To book the specially discounted Discovery Magic Package, either call CRO or contact a Disney Specialist travel agent and ask for Code CUK.

I would just give them the code. I don't think they will ask, but if they do, just tell them you saw it on the internet. I believe these are for everybody and anybody who can use them. Disney often releases codes for residents of a certain state, but as far as I can determine, these are for anybody who wants to use them.

Oh, and if you call, let us know what they say. Thanks!

Wow, that looks like it could save a good amount of money. I know what you are talking about, I now have two kids that are considered adults. Man, that makes you feel old!

Just so you know, because I am sure that someone is going to ask, here is the difference in the packages:

Resort Magic Package:
Resort Room
Unlimited Park Hopper for length of stay (Parks, Water Parks, DisneyQuest and WW of Sports, unlimited admission)
One of the flex features per person (includes such things as character breakfast, free mini-golf, behind the scenes tours or special commemorative souvenirs)
Commemorative Disney Trading Pin

Discovery Magic Package:
Resort Room
Unlimited Park Hopper Pass
Two flex features for every night. (Many more choices like Cirque de Soleil and spa treatments!)

There is also a deluxe magic package that just includes all three meals for each day that you are there, plus unlimited use of all Disney recreation (golf, guided fishing trips and boating). That would be great if you didn't have to sleep!

So, lvbug, are you going to use this code, or stick with your original reservation?

3 of our rooms are set up with the AP discount and I will leave those alone -- but one is set up with the discovery magic pkg and I will change my reservations on that room to include this new code.

Just to clarify --
The Discovery Magic plan gives 2 wishes per day to each person? or is it 2 wishes per day per room?

Direct from the Disney website: "Choose from the following list of Magical Wishes Features (two per person, per night). (Example: a three-night stay offers you a choice of six selections per person, redeemable whenever you like during your stay)" So, if you have four people per room, you could each go to a character breakfast (counts as 4) and you would have 4 left that day. Or, your kids could go play mini-golf and you could go to the spa. Does that make sense?

Oh Good, I was under the impression that's how it was -- but wasn't sure. Thanks for clarifying Mickey!
