Disney Cruise Line changes and some great deals!

Disney Cruise Line has added Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, one of the most popular resort hotels at Walt Disney World Resort, as a selection to 7-Night Land & Sea Vacation packages. The beauty of the savannah, exquisite cuisine in lush settings and the lure of authentic African treasures all come together at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge to celebrate the beauty and wonder of this vast and untamed continent.

This deluxe resort hotel will be available for arrivals beginning Aug. 21, 2003 for guests sailing on the Disney Wonder on Aug. 24, 2003 and replaces Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

Also, Disney has added the April 19 and April 26 dates to the $799 Magic Rates List for the 7 night cruises on the Disney Magic. The rate is per person and is only available on a category 11 or 12, but it amounts to more than a $3,000 discount. I just noticed this post and I was wondering if you can still stay at the Wilderness Lodge or is that no longer an option for the cruise? We are thinking about taking a cruise in the beginning of next year and were thinking about staying at the Wilderness Lodge. Thanks :)

No, WL will no longer be offered as an option for the land portion of the land/sea packages. The rooms at AKL are savannah view rooms, so that is a nice option.
