Christmas activities to go on as scheduled at WDW

The following Christmas activities will be presented at WDW from Nov. 21-Jan. 6, 2002.

• Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party: More nights of the merry celebration at the Magic Kingdom mean the biggest party ever. Beginning at 7 p.m., the party dates are: Nov. 29 and 30 and Dec. 2, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18. Highlights include parades, marching toy soldiers, snow flurries and Santa. Advance tickets are $33 plus tax for guests ages 10 and up and $23 plus tax for ages 3-9. Tickets at the gate are $38 plus tax ($28 plus tax for ages 3-9) based on availability. For more information guests can contact any Walt Disney World ticket location and Ticketmaster, or call 407/W-DISNEY.

* Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights: There are now 5 million "illuminating" reasons to visit the seventh annual Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights, the largest residential holiday light display in the world, at Disney-MGM Studios. The nightly light display, which shines Nov. 21-Jan. 6, 2002, is located on the theme park's "backlot" and provides a picturesque atmosphere for a nightly snowfall, a tree made of 100,000 lights and more. Guests also will receive a pair of holographic glasses, allowing them to see images of angels when looking at the lights. The display is included in regular admission to Disney-MGM Studios. For more information, guests can call 407/824-4321.

* Holidays Around the World: Traditional celebrations from around the globe make Epcot festive Nov. 23-Dec. 30. Candlelight Processional, performed three times a day at America Gardens Theatre, features celebrity narrators joined by a 50-piece orchestra and mass choir in a presentation of the traditional Christmas Story. Special dining packages that include preferred seating for the show are also offered by calling 407/WDW-DINE. Holidays Around the World, which also features storytellers in World Showcase and the dazzling display Lights of Winter, is included with regular Epcot admission.

* Christmastime in the City: Guests can find the perfect gift, grab some hot chocolate and visit with Santa at Downtown Disney Nov. 23-Jan. 2, 2002.
