WDW Free dining to be released April 12, 2007

Walt Disney World will be releasing the free dining program again this year, however, early indications are that the dates are reduced dramatically from years past. While nothing is currently set in stone, I ran across this on the Disney World site today.

Please note the dates, August 26 - September 22, 2007. While I hope these dates are an error, they may be accurate. I hope to find out more soon.

Can someone refresh my memory... If we arrive on the 21st for 5 nights, do we get free dining for those 5 nights, or is it just for the 21st and 22nd, seeing that's the last day of the offer.

I believe the way it used to work was as long as you arrived before the promotion was over-you could still have it for up to 10 days.

As long as you check in during the dates of an offer, you would be able to get the discount for your entire stay. So, in this case, even if you were to check in on September 22, you would get the free dining your entire stay, based on availability of course.

HURRAY!! it means changing our dates for the week prior, but that's ok! we still get MNSSHP, and now have to stay an extra day, to get to go to food & wine fest on the 29th! (poor us, an extra day, lol)

Well that sure stinks for us...

a week too short.....
oh well... DD will still have a memorable 4th birthday.....
But it means a downgrade of hotel choice for us.... no AKL....
