We stopped up to make a payment on our trip and the manager at Liberty Travel said Disney has been absolutely *** BOMBED*** with calls since the Free Dining went official. It was a 24 minute wait on hold for a travel agent to get through..and they usually use their own hotline#

It's almost like everyone was just sitting around by the computer waiting for the 12th to come and then they all dialed in at the same time.

It could be that this might be the last ever year of FD so everyone wants to get one last shot in.

Well, WDW must have opened up more rooms at Pop today. I checked online and they were now available again. We've got two rooms for free dining!

That's great Gingles. I was online checking out flights last night with Westjet for our flight out of Toronto and I noticed that they still also have the standard Pop room available for some dates for free dining through their vacation pkgs.

I already can't wait to go! I am so glad that we were able to get rooms at Pop, even though we have already stayed there i really love Pop the best of all the Value Resorts.

Just made reservation August 26 - Sept 1st at Pop Century with free dining on 4/30. Must have opened more rooms.

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has booked free dining through disneyworld.com recently? I have been trying to get a package price for the past couple of days, and everytime I click on the "Get Started" button after entering my dates, etc, I get error messages that there are problems with the site I am trying to visit.

Just wondering if anyone else had any trouble recently?

Have you tried calling Disney? I know I had some issues with the site a few weeks ago.

I thought, and I am not sure about this AT ALL..but I think you had to book by June 4th? Does that sound right?

But I'd try calling Disney anyway.

I might just try calling. I thought it was by June 4 or June 14th too, Bella, but when I went to the site, it now says "Book by June 24th!" so I'm not sure what is going on with the site.

I am still really tentative about going, so I was hopeful to just get an idea on availability from the website, but I guess I can always just call.

Bella and DT, thanks for the advice. I just got off the phone with Reservations and they were able to quote me a price. Now I need to make a decision. Hmmmmmmmmmm. I am such a fool for free dining!
