Yeah!! As soon as they go on sale, I'll have to make my reservations for December!!I am bound and determained to get there again this year!!!;) I've only been once, and just drove home afterwards, this year we are making a weekend out of it. I know going on a Friday will be busy, but that's ok, at least we'll be there!!

I can't wait! Anyone know when the tix will become available to buy, and also, how much are they in addition to park admission?

If I'm not mistaken, isn't the ticket count around 5,000 for each party?

I thought I read somewhere that they sold up to 10,000 tickets per party. It wasn't on the official disney site, but that's what someone said.

How much is it to go to this party? Why should one spend the extra money to go to the MK during this party, rather than spending the day in the park? Isn't everything already decorated for Christmas? If anyone has any details about the party, I would love to hear. I am trying to decide if I want to spend the extra $$ for the party. THANKS FOR ANY INFO YOU HAVE!

Here are the prices for this years MVMCP

Adult (including tax) $38.29
Child (including Tax)$27.64
$3.00 ship and handling

Yes the parks are already decorated, and at a certain point they change the day parade into the christmas parade. But for one thing it is a little more limited as to the # of people admitted into the park. It's just the whole astmosphere of the place at night, w/"snow" on main street, the characters in their christmas/winter clothing, the special christmas shows. The free family pictures, the free hot cocoa and cookies. I went 3 years ago, and it was a lot of fun. I figured it was time to go again. Some people enjoy it, some don't. I LOVE  Christmas time, and everything that goes along w/it, so to be in a place I love, and enjoy that christmas spirit, makes it worth the cost for the evening.

The hours are usually 7pm-midnight (or a little later).

I'm with you, GoofyGal...I ABSOLUTELY love Christmas...I am obsessed with it! It definitely sounds like something I want to do! We are going back in Dec for 4 days and the MVMCP is on 12/9, which is the night before we leave. I can't think of a better way to end the mini-vacation! Oh, one last question....are all of the rides and attractions open, too???

We've been to MVMCP 3 times and the NSSHP 2 times. Yes, it is extra money and it can be crowded at times but we have found it to be well worth the money. The rides are open and we found there was never a wait. We walked onto everything. IT seems a lot of the tickets sold are to locals who have been on the rides and want to see the shows and buy the special Christmas souvenirs. The parades at both events are worth the price of the tickets to me but I love parades! If you can do it, wait until the second parade, much less crowded, and go on a Sunday or weekday night, avoid Fridays and Saturdays.

Welcome to DisneyCentral, ilovepooh!

I can't answer your question about when tickets for MVMCP go on sale but I do know that there is special seating for guests who need it. You can ask any CM or get a guide from guest services when you enter the park.

This site might help you with your planning.
