New AP discount for 1/1/04 - 2/11/04

WDW Annual Passholders can ask for Code BCE and get special discounted rates at select Walt Disney World resorts for check-ins 1/1/04-2/11/04. Discounts range from approximately 30-45% off regular rack rates. Some reported rates:

All Stars - $49 standard
Moderates - $79 standard, $89 king
Animal Kingdom Lodge - $109 standard, $154 savannah view
Wilderness Lodge - $109 standard, $125 woods view, $140 courtyard view
Ft. Wilderness Cabins - $134
Polynesian - $179 garden view
Contemporary - $218 garden wing
Other resorts, room types and views are available at varying prices!

I wonder if these great prices will increase the crowd levels? They are pretty cheap.

these prices have finally made my DH interested in buying AP's .. no matter how much I keep trying to tell him that they could save us some money he hasnt really understood it, but now he is ready to let me purchase AP's !!

Mickey, I will have the AP in our group, we are both checking in (2 rooms) on the 10th, do we qualify? It sounds too good to be true.
Still willing to pay extra for the preferred water view.;)

We saved a lot of money with APs. Not only with hotel, but food, entertainment, and more. Since we bought the APs we have visited 14+ times. It really is a money saver.

thanks JohnK9 :) thats really helpful info. I am really hoping that once he says ok and we get the passes he will want to go at least 2 times this coming year :)

new question .. I just ordered the AP's and they will arrive by jan 14th.. I know we have to activate them at WDW which makes my question .. if they are not activated till then how do you get the AP discount?

Call the AP number at 1-407-560-7277. They will help you out.

Tink, you just call and tell them you have an AP when making your reservations. They will take you for your word while making the reservations. You just have to make sure you have them on you each time you check into a Disney Resort when using the AP discounted rate.

It does vary, from what i heard, if you have to actually activate them *before* checking in, or if you can just use the voucher to check in and then activate them. It really just depends on the CM you get at check in.

But you will have no problem when you call to make reservations. You could call now to make them w/out the vouchers. They have never asked me to read off a number from the AP's or anything like that!!

my luck I will get a CM that insist they be activated before I can check in

We had not picked ours up at "Will Call" and they checked us in our first time with APs at AP discount rate. You won't have a problem, if you do, drive over to the park, activate the ticket, drive back to the hotel later when you are ready to rest.
