Walt Disney World has announced its scheduled E-Ride Nights for the month of July and August, 2002. Currently nine nights are scheduled for July, and seven for August. This is great news that Disney is continually announcing E-Ride Nights for the rest of the Summer. Good news for all of you planning to be at WDW in July and August! The scheduled E-ride nights are:

July 2 (10 - 1 AM)
July 5 (10 - 1 AM)
July 9 (10 - 1 AM)
July 12 (10 - 1 AM)
July 16 (10 - 1 AM)
July 19 (10 - 1 AM)
July 23 (10 - 1 AM)
July 26 (10 - 1 AM)
July 30(10 - 1 AM)

August
August 2 (10 - 1 AM)
August 6 (10 - 1 AM)
August 9 (10 - 1 AM)
August 13 (10 - 1 AM)
August 16 (10 - 1 AM)
August 20 (8:30 PM - 11:30 PM)
August 23 (9:30 PM - 12:30 AM)

E-Ride nights are an exclusive "private party" in the Magic Kingdom for a limited number of Walt Disney World Resort, and include many of the e-tickets rides in the Magic Kingdom open for the limited party.

Can you wait until that night, or do you have to buy e-tickets ahead of time? Also, where do you get them? Thanks.:)

Jeff, you can purchase these tickets at any WDW resort or at any guest services office. The nights often sell out, so if you are interested in going a particular night, you should probably buy your tickets in advance. A couple of days would be ok, assuming you don't want to go around the 4th of July. I believe you can also call WDW and buy them on the phone in advance, but I have never done that.

I tryed to do a search but still can't find out what rides are open during E-ride. I'm planning to do the E-ride on August 16 but want to skip the rides that we can do later (no reason to stand in line if we can get on them with little or no line later). If anyone has any information that would be great. Thanks:)

MJ, here is the current list:

Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Buzz Lightyear
Haunted Mansion
Alien Encounter
Astro Orbiter
Tomorrowland Transit Authority
Country Bear Jamboree


These rides are usually the ones that are open, but they will often substitute one ride for another. I have often seen Pirates of the Caribbean open, and the Haunted Mansion closed.
