WDW attendance skyrockets
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Magic Kingdom and EPCOT were so crowded between Christmas and New Years, that the parks actually closed for several hours during some of the days. Magic Kingdom closed three days to everyone but on-property resort guest (December 25, 28 and 31), and EPCOT closed on December 31. The reported attendance at which they close the parks are about 50,000.
