What is the last thing you do on your WDW vacation?

For many of us, our last day at WDW is only a partial day, and you want your last day to be memorable, so what do you do on that last day?

First and last is always MK-it's quintessential Disney. This time, as we left, betsymouse was crying crocodile tears as she said,"I don't want to leave." Of course, we all felt that way, she just expressed it a little more obviously.:D :)

Like wdwjeff, we always go to the MK when we first get to WDW and its the last place we go to before we leave. The reason is probably because its our favorite park!:)

I too make MK the first and last visit for the same reasons as wdwjeff. It always saddens me when we leave the MK gates for the last time. We then always make the promise to come back, especially now that we have 2 kids. Last time we left it occurred to me how such a relatively small amount of time in the course of your life could have such great significance. The time spent there is always too short. Even when we are not there we think about the atmosphere as if it is like a candle gently burning, beaconing us back. Boy, thinking about that makes me wish I was there.

Our last day at wdw is spent crying the moment I wake up. Then we go to each park one last time &
run to buy those souvenirs we didn't feel like carrying around--and sniffle as I leave each park. Finally, we end up in DTD for one last walk through Disney's Days of Christmas. On the shuttle to the airport, I'm a bawling
mess. It's sad. Even at 25, I cry like a baby because I don't want to go home. Who wants to be a responsible
adult again? There's something wrong with me isn't there?:)

glad to know someone else cries because they have to leave :( and if there is something wrong with you ..then your part of a growing number of people with the same problem. I dont think any more that I am wierd for the way I feel .. because I have found so many like me ..right here. I stopped trying to understand why a place can cause such deep emotion ..not to mention become such an important part of the year in our lives. We live for our WDW vacations ..even though we wear ourselves out trying so hard to do it all.
The last day is spent at the parks .. sometimes we park hop and sometimes or just go to one or 2 parks .. it seems that often we have to have one last wonderful Disney Meal .. usually at Sci-fi or Crystal Palace. We try and hit all the stores at the resort, parks and DTD so we dont get home saying "I wish I had got" of course we always do get home and say "I wish I had got" .

My DH doesn't even like to think about the date of our last day there 'cause it depresses him! We always do MK...traditionally we do lunch at Crystal Palace & give Pooh & everyone last hugs, but since we can't do that this time (it'll be closed!) we're going to do lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. Not character, but one of my DH favorite places.

We end our trip in the magic kingdom, beginning the day with breakfast! We then spend the day redoing all the things we enjoy most. We dont leave without ridng Splash Mountain at least twice. Always before we had eaten at Tonys but this year we had to eat at the Crystal palace.

On our last day we spend a couple hours at each of the parks. That way, everyone gets to ride their favorite ride at least one extra time! :D

Our last day will be a half day until we have to catch our plane. We plan to do Downtown Disney and Disney Quest. Then its boo hoo hoo all the way home.

I start my vacation at MK and end it in MK. It's my favorite part of WDW.

Unforunately we don't go to a theme park the day we leave WDW. Usually we are packing all day and when were done its hanging around the resort or swimming in the pool until its time to go. I think the only time I went to a park was 6 years ago and that was at the Magic Kingdom.
