I think they need to add a character restaurant designd after the House of Mouse cartoon. It would be great to watch cartoons and see characters. They could switch the characters around so it could be boys and girls.

First, we've had so many discussions about the Values, and even though they're less expensive, it's still not the most affordable option. So, Disney should add a handful of "Motel 6" style resorts with very limited theming, but access to Disney transportation. The cost for staying there would be less than the Values.

Next, lots of Thrill rides. I've heard people talk about converting Spaceship Earth into a thrill/roller-coaster ride. Man, wouldn't that be great?

Also, the World Showcase is getting really stale. Does anyone actually LIKE going back there? Each of the "countries" should be overhauled where each one has a "feature" ride. If there were 2 or 3 thrill rides in the World Showcase, it would DEFINATELY get more foot traffic.

You know what else? There should be beer available at the Magic Kingdom. I get so tired of dealing with all of the rug rats screaming and whining. Sometimes, a beer or two (or three) would be a PERFECT way to take the edge off.

If Disney would just make some of these modifications, WDW would finally become a piece of true Americana.

For those of you who know me, you know that my tongue is for firmly inserted in my cheek that I might have trouble removing it.

For those who don't get the joke, please forgive me.

Moderate Resorts that sleep 6.
I agree with AECOX from page 1, big families could use more options.

Re: If WDW added just one thing, what should it be?

Just to really stir things up, rides based on The Black Hole and Tron. They have rights for Miramax so, a Pulp Fiction stunt show, maybe a Jay and Silent Bob's Jersey Adventure(come on, you know you want a "Clerks" experience). And once Eisner leaves and Spielberg feels better, a new Roger Rabbit ride in Orlando. Indiana Jones Backwards like Paris. A new version of 20,000 Leagues. Freshen up Star Tours or just do a new Star Wars ride. Put the Skyway back? That'd be nice, it was taken down by the first time I got to the Magic Kingdom. Looking at this list, most would be at home in Disney MGM, but the true Disney titles could find a home in Tomorrowland.

All of these sound great. I voted for a moderate resort that sleeps 6. I think that is the greatest need given many families have 3 or more kids.

Where are the treehouse villas?
Erin, they were part of the Disney Institute, but now I think they are part of Saratoga Springs, but I'm not sure. They were very cool!!!2 bedrooms upstairs, and another on the ground floor.

I accidentally hit one with a golf ball once.

Hey!!! What have I ever done to you?!?!?
Allright, I admit, I was laughing my rear off, too.
I also hit one of the buildings at Old Key West. I mean, come on!!! The buildings are like, 3 feet away from the fairway!!! I'm not a very good golfer. But, I do know that a golf ball makes a very loud sound when it hits a tin roof. We'll have to play golf sometime!!!

My vote is for larger rooms that are able to sleep 6 in the Moderate Resorts.

Re: If WDW added just one thing, what should it be?

My mom managed a golf course when I was growing up, and so many of the older golfers saw me as an opportunity to have a child prodigy. LOL! That didn't last long, as I'm kluzty and have all the symptoms of ADD (LOL, golf is a REALLY long game!)
But, anyway, Darth - those golf balls DO make very loud sounds when they hit things! LOL!

Re: If WDW added just one thing, what should it be?

I voted for a boys character meal since we have a boy now, but the moderate sleep 6 resort was a close second. I'd love to bring my 2 nieces, but we would have to get a separate room!

Ooooh! Hadn't thought of a Villain's resort! I'd thought of a Villain's park, but not a resort. WONDERFUL idea! And it's probably a lot more doable than a whole park. Although, a park would be awesome, because that's where I would make ALL the rides thrill rides! WOO-HOO!!!!

Can you imagine a Villain's park at Halloween? AWESOME!!!!!

I agree with you, WDW does not need any more thrilling rides, they need some new updates on older rides, possibly bringing up to the standards that we have now. I go more for the imagination as to the thrills. Leave the thrills and chills where they may be. I was just looking at a book of Knottsberry Farm and they have added alot of new thill rides since I was there 10 years ago........take care

Re: If WDW added just one thing, what should it be?

Just a thought. I'm not married to the idea or anything, but another theme park that is geared towards "thrills." I'm talking nothing but roller coasters and make-you-throw-up thrill rides. No fancy dining. No character meet 'n greets. No shows. In other words, market it towards teens who think WDW is for little kids. The advantages are:

1. It would pull teens out of MK, AK, EPCOT & MGM , cutting down lines.
2. It would draw in more families with teenagers (making $$ for WDW)
3. It would compete head-to-head with Universal's "thrill" rides.
