Re: Do you rent or buy Disney Animated Movies?

I buy the movies when they come out unless it was one we just really didn't like at the theater, then I will rent it for the kids to see. We did not buy Home on the Range because the only one who somewhat liked it was my DS and when I asked him if he wanted me to buy it for him or rent it, he said I didn't like it that much mom can we rent it.

Re: Do you rent or buy Disney Animated Movies?

We're buying just about everything as it comes out. Rafikiman built us a home theater last year so we just have to have an extensive collection to watch whenever we want. You'd be surprised what a 93" screen & surround sound does to everything from Armageddon to Monsters Inc!

Re: Do you rent or buy Disney Animated Movies?

I usually buy most of the originals, but none of the sequels, like Cinderella 2, Jungle Book 2, Snow White and the 8th dwarf, etc.

I like to buy all of them just to have them in my collection.

I have to say we buy them only because we are always LATE returning rentals, and once you add up late charges, you might as well buy!!!

Why wasn't "Neither-I don't watch Disney Animated Movies" a choice?

Re: Do you rent or buy Disney Animated Movies?

There's not a day that goes by in this house where we don't watch a Disney film. Except for PBS, regular TV is just not acceptable for little kids these days.

I know, I don't know what I would do without our satillite stations such as Disney Channel, Toon Disney, Nickelodeon and Noggen (which is great for my DS who is 13) My DK's have outgrown PBS for the most part, but I still like to catch Sesame Street every now and then. Actually, we took the kids to Sesame Place in Langhorn PA this year ~ they still had a blast even at 13, 9, 7 and 6.

Re: Do you rent or buy Disney Animated Movies?

I buy most of them now since they are coming out on DVD, but the only one that I have in VHS is The Little Mermaid (original package) and Little Mermaid 2 and Cinderalla 2 and Peter Pan.

Thats ok, you dont have to have little ones to watch them. My wife and I are over 25 and we love to watch Disney movies! But, thats cool, I guess its just a matter of what you like.

She buys them and we watch them. In other words, I don`t rent or buy them.
