Annual Passes! Renewed at $339 a year ago and were there 23 days, that averages out to $14.74 a day to enter any park at any time! Just renewed at $361 for another year! Hope to be there as many days this year!!! Joe

We bought the MYW Premimum pack. This will be our first time trying a water park or two. Although we may still downgrade to the good ol park hopping only option.

One of us will probably always have an annual pass mainly for the hotel discounts and the $50 Dining Experience card. Everyone else will have 10 day MYW park hopping no expiry tickets which we will use for two trips.

My Jaw almost hit the floor when mouseketrips told me that it was $100 to add no experation to the 10 park ticket. For that I would just buy the annual pass and be sure to return a week earlier next year.
We had to add the park hopper though we enjoy the EMH we dont like to spend the full day at that park we find it to crowded, but we still have extras left on our park hopper plus from last year. So I voted for the park hopper.

I know the $100 for no expiration sounds like a lot but the tickets are still reasonably priced (works out to $35/day even with the park hopping and no expiry add-ons). It is worth it to us because we live in Canada so returning within a year sometimes isn't financially possible. Our annual passes would all expire after only one trip if all 5 of us had them. This way if we don't make it back within a year, at least 4 of the passes will be good for whenever we do make it back. You are right, though, that for most people who are fairly certain that they can get a couple of trips on their AP's that is the way to go. At least now we all have more choices and can tailor these passes to our individual family needs!!

i have a question that i've not seen the answer to anywhere else. will the plus options expire after we use the 7 days of park entries? we will be there for 7 full days, 2 half days and 8 nights. we've gotten 7 day premium tickets. if we go to quest the first evening on property, a half day, will we be forefiting a day for entry into the main parks? I understand we cannot hop between quest and the water parks but can we do a water park in the morning and a park in the afternoon and evening? the use of the plus options is new to me. we always had ultimate hoppers or ap's before. any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. just when i thought i had the world mastered a new wrinkle throws me off balance.

From what I understand the plus options do not expire even if you have used up your 7 days at the theme parks. I also don't think that you use up a park day when you use a plus option at a water park, but your best bet is to check allearsnet.com where they have a fantastic info section on all types of park tickets and I'm sure all of your questions can be answered there with no fear of someone giving you wrong info. Pooh Bear, I am not sure if you will be using up one of your park days by going to DQ the first night. But, it was only $3 for us to add an extra day to our tickets. You might want to just call the resort (if that's where you got your tickets) and ask them. Once you pay for the first 5 days, it is really cheap to add additional days. We loved DQ and the water park. Also, we can't stay at just one park for an entire day. We like to go back to the resort for a swim/rest, then visit another park for the afternoon, so the hoppers were our best choice.
