I'll definitely use it while it's free. Once they start charging, then it will depend on how much more efficient they are than Mears. Sometimes we rent a car just to avoid the wait and to allow us to go to the Disney clearance stores!

I would try it, but I have taken shuttle buses to hotels before and found nothing but problems with long lines & more luggage than the shuttle has room for.

Has anyone any idea if this will be for internal flights to Orlando or will it include flights from outside the US like us poor Brits flying with Virgin or BA?
Not that I would use it when staying longer than a few days. We need a car when we stay for 2 weeks or longer to visit other places.

We are driving for our trip in March but we may fly our son down for a few days to be with us if he can get off work part of the time. This would be great as we wouldn't have to go get him at the airport and use up our time at Disney, but March is not May so maybe next trip.

I think at one time this was discussed but it was deemed to expensive. I know too they had discussed having a monorail from Anaheim Stadium to DL too but after selling the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim(stupid name) that idea was scrapped too.

My twin sons, my wife, and I are going to Disney World this summer and we can't wait to try this new service! We last visited in 2003 and while it was the BEST vacation we have ever had, we had to hang around baggage claim for quite a while, and wait for a shuttle bus to take us to our resort!
This new service is just what was needed! No more hassles! We like to "hit the ground running" as it were and get to the parks as soon as possible! Now it looks as though that is a guarantee!
I will be sure to post my experience when we return this summer!

My understanding is that it applies to everyone coming to Disney during the Happiest Celebration on Earth! period (May '05 to Dec '06).

My partner and I have already reserved it for our anniversary trip at the beginning of May. Not only do they take care of your bags, but you are greeted by a costumed character at the airport, movies are shown on the motorcoach and (I think) there may even be refreshments served. So, even if they do charge for it later, you do get some perks for your money. We'll let you know how it goes in practice.

PS: Sorry we've been gone so long. Our December trip was somewhat marred by sickness, so we didn't have the heart to do a trip report on it. This time we hope and trust that it will go better and will come back with a full report. One of the highlights of this trip is that we'll be spending the last three nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge, something we've always wanted to do. Anyway, it's good to be back

Can I change my answer.....I originally put that no, my family would not be using the service since we usually rent a car. Now it turns out that when/if my DH and I go in June/July that we won't be getting a vehicle, so it's Magical Express all the way!!!
